- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday, when we are open
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Routine appointments
To request a routine appointment in the next 7 days
- email the practice on furlong.medicalcentre@nhs.net
- use our appointment request form, Monday to Friday. We will respond within during opening times
- phone us on 01782 577388, Monday to Friday, when we are open
- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday, when we are open
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)

Your appointment
However you choose to contact us we may offer you a consultation:
- by phone
- face to face at the surgery
- on a video call
- by text or email.
Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.
To cancel your appointment:
- phone us on 01782 577388, Monday to Friday, when we are open
- use your NHS account (on the NHS website or in the NHS app)
- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday, when we are open
- reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message
- complete an online form on this website.
We offer enhanced access services to our patients on weekdays 5-8pm and Saturdays 9.00-5.30pm at locations either Furlong Medical Centre/ Cobridge Surgery and Tunstall Primary Care Centre
